Ethics and Data Handling

This project has human research ethics approval from Monash Health Human Research Ethics Committee (ethics ID number: RES-22-0000-046A). It adheres to the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research.

Any information that we collect for this research is treated as confidential. We can disclose the information only with a participant’s permission, except as required by law. Privacy and confidentiality of data will be ensured by storing de-identified data within restricted access, password-protected folder on the University of Melbourne’s server, or in the case of paper forms, in a locked filing cabinet at the School of Population Health at the University of Melbourne. Only the research team can match names to data if it is necessary to do so.
